I'm an LA baby, though I was born in Brooklyn, NY and am capable of swearing like a truck driver. 

My family moved to the San Fernando Valley when I was 9 and once I saw the Pacific ocean, 

the die was cast. 

After graduating from UCLA with a BA in English Lit, I went to work for an ad agency in Hollywood. One fateful day, we couldn't cast a part for a Chevy commercial.  The creative director paced around, then blurted out, 'Wait! Marcie can do it! She'll be perfect!' (Just like in the movies).  

So began my love affair with acting...

After an amazing career working on iconic shows of the 70s and 80s, I left the business...and built a computer consulting company (it's a  long story)... and ultimately returned to LA and my first and enduring love.  After all, inevitably a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
